The Icelandic Nurses' Association has signed a collective agreement with the Icelandic state. The agreement was signed April 12th, 2023, and applies to all nurses working for the state.
This agreement is short term and is in effect from April 1st, 2023, to March 31st, 2024.
It guarantees wage improvement for nurses and involves changes in working hours, sick leave, etc.
The agreement will be presented to nurses in four separate meetings, one will be in English.
Thursday April 13th 12:00 – 13:00 via Teams
Thursday April 13th 17:00 – 18:00 via Teams
Friday April 14th 15:30 – 16:30 via Teams
Presentation in English, Monday April 17th 16:00 – 17:00 via Teams.
Nurses working for Reykjavíkurborg and will vote on that agreement are welcome to join the English presentation on Monday.

Voting on the agreement is electronic and is open on Mínar síður from Saturday April 15th 12:00 to Monday April 24th 12:00. Only nurses with full membership in The Icelandic Nurses' Association can vote.
